As I said to Onion members:

"We’re an independent company, we don’t use AI to write headlines and make art, and we’re one of roughly three publications who are up for the fight. Unlike other places, The Onion is quadrupling down on being a pain in the ass, politically."

So help out! Grab a paper.

Bolts humor! 🤣 😍

still, i'm afraid the Anchorage school board has never been on one of our election cheat sheets... but Alaska's Mat-Su school board or Fairbanks school boards have, so there's sure a path to this.
Olivia Nuzzi gets a job with Bolts and immediately becomes infatuated with an Anchorage school board candidate

@gtconway.bsky.social will be interesting to see how #SCOTUS declares CA redistricting unconstitutional but allows TX. How does a layperson make sense of this? Or does SCOTUS no longer care to even try?

Which is why the next Dem president will be told what the last one was.
It is pretty galling that the Supreme Court spent four years telling Biden "you can't do that without Congress" then allowed Trump to seize a once-unthinkable amount of power from Congress within nine months and concentrate law-making authority almost entirely in the executive branch.

I treat AI research just like anybody else I talk to--and give it the same weight.
Trying to be an AI-enabled PM, so I used AI to address feedback on a strategy doc and learned 2 things:

1. Complex tasks require pages of prompting. Prompt quality matters a lot more than model.

2. When AI asks you detailed questions about your doc, it helps to sharpen your thinking on the topic.

A long overdue apology and note of thanks to @ronfournier.bsky.social. Many years ago when I just started out on the Bird site, I made a comment to Ron that was kinda snarky--frankly, I don't remember what it was. Ron was gracious and ever since then I've lived by a simple rule on social media.. 1/2

@gtconway.bsky.social I'm assuming we will see more lawyer resignations from firms once they get something else lined up. Just because they didn't resign on day one, doesn't mean they won't. Thoughts?

@bradmossesq.bsky.social sorry for the layman's legal question. Regarding the revocation of security clearances...if I were indicted and needed representation that required security clearances, would I be forced to use attorneys that essentially Trump approved?
