Omg am I finally going to get to see Heavenly??? I bought tickets!
I saw Marine Research at Stalag 13 in Philly in 1999 but I've still never seen Heavenly. Empty Bottle isn't quiiite as small as Stalag was (lol) but I'm VERY excited for this!

Tomorrow I get to do one of my favorite things all year, cheer my head off for the marathon runners. Highly recommend, especially going later when the crowds have thinned, & screaming out every name or country written on someone's shirt

None of us should feel exempt or invulnerable, because if they can do this to our neighbors, they can come for us, too. That said, those of us who are not presently among those being targeted should not focus on our own fear and vulnerability. We should support those in the immediate path of harm.

Chicago - my neighbor is having her annual jade plant sale (and other plants too) this weekend, 11-4 Fri/Sat/Sun (26-28), corner of Argyle & Francisco. Cash or Venmo, all proceeds go to the Chicago no-kill shelter of your choice. She always has really gorgeous plants!

So regularly destroyed is trans stuff that it's an obscure fact that 2 words beginning with trans (transfeminate and transection) were in English dictionaries to describe someone who 'changed sex' from the mid 1600s until well into the 20th century.
