Never ever ever read a book’s foreword before you finish the book. The foreword writer always assumes that the book is a universal classic that you’ve already read, and they spoil the ending. I don’t know why publishers allow this.

Wuthering Heights completed, and just in time before the “adaptation” comes out in cinemas.
Excellent characters, they are all horrible (apart from Hareton, and I will hear no argument).

I started using Pagebound today and so far I am seriously impressed. It’s not owned by a larger company and clearly puts effort into being accessible to indie authors. My only complaint is that the platform seems to rely on Goodreads for entering missing books.
