It's one thing for a Dem senator to say they're against the deal. It's another to call out, by name, the cavers. But are you willing to get your ass to PA and stump for Fetterman's challenger in the next election? Or Kaine's in VA?

One of the talking points I keep seeing from Democrats is that part of the deal is that it will "ensure federal workers receive back pay" but that's the existing law!

That's not something you've won in negotiations. That's just the letter of the law. You don't get to claim that as a win.

Not that he didn’t already know, but now Trump knows for sure he can roll the Dems every time and there’s no need to negotiate for anything

This is really good to see: Miki Sherrill just put out a statement sharply criticizing the Senate Dems' pending cave in the government shutdown, ripping it as "malpractice" and a betrayal of the people who are "counting on us to fight for them." Sherrill knows what drove her victory. Wake up, Dems.

If Schumer votes AGAINST this but enough Ds vote FOR it that it passes, he needs to RESIGN immediately.

He will have shown himself to be absolutely ineffective as a minority leader. He has to go.

Literally resign tonight.

Education Department's out-of-office messages blaming Democrats for the shutdown are unconstitutional, judge rules
The ruling stems from a lawsuit filed after the Trump administration altered employees’ email messages to add partisan language about the government shutdown without their consent.

Are we ever going to talk about how badly the polls called the NJ governors race? Nobody predicted it would be such a beat down. Why even do them when they are so clearly flawed?

Katie Brennan is going to be great in LD-32. Definitely the type we need more of in Trenton.

We're already seeing the NJ Gov race called for Sherrill. Little early, I think, but I don't think they're wrong.
Strong turnout everywhere Sherrill needed it, with Ciattarelli only narrowly winning the early vote in places where he needed a blowout. I'm expecting a 7-8 point margin.

Some crazy results in South Jersey tonight. 70% of the vote being reported in Ocean County, and Ciattarelli is up by 30 percent. Which seems good.
Except that he needed to win Ocean County by *50* points.
