Received a letter from POTUS today purporting to remove me as Commissioner and Chair of the FEC. There's a legal way to replace FEC commissioners-this isn't it. I've been so fortunate to serve the American people and stir up some good trouble along the way. That's not changing anytime soon.

My favorite thing about Bluesky so far is that you see people asking for sources when they see something questionable in their feed.

Remember, they’ve been planting the anti-FEMA rhetoric for awhile. FEMA had to cease operations in North Carolina because of threats from citizens who believed lies they read online about FEMA confiscating land and deliberately manipulating the weather.
Trump: "We're looking at the whole concept of FEMA. I like, frankly, the concept when North Carolina gets hit, the governor takes care of it. When Florida gets hit, the governor takes care of it. Meaning the state takes care of it ... I'd like to see the states take care of disasters."

This basically sums up why I think I haven’t missed Instagram or Facebook since deactivating.
