i’m the world’s worst negotiator. i told my manager “please just let me move to nyc that’s all i want i even have this job offer that lets me move and the only reason why i’m considering it is the location. even if this offer doesn’t work out, i will continue finding a job until i can move there”

Elon buying X and firing everyone pretty much turned tech into a shitty place to work almost overnight.
OpenAI "proved" that LLMs are a viable product and X "proved" that you can fire large numbers of employees

the company is uber and i haven’t had an uber account since 2017, simply wasn’t on my radar of companies but i’ll have to think about it
the point of therapy was to learn how to act out of my true wants rather than letting other people’s feelings mold me but rn i kinda really really like this guy and he lives on the other coast and i just got a job offer that would let me move but im not totally enthused about it
