Most business biographies fall into one of two camps:

📚 Great stories with no lessons — or lessons with no soul.

Dirtbag Billionaire is the rare book that delivers both.

I blazed through this and can’t recommend it more highly.

Wandered into Garden District Bookshop on a recent trip to New Orleans and picked up The Neon Rain by James Lee Burke — first in his Dave Robicheaux series. Hard-boiled, poetic, swampy noir. Raymond Chandler on po’boys and chicory coffee. Ripped through it. #Booksky 💙📚

What starts as a war reporting satire evolves into a riveting character study of a spiraling young correspondent. Incredibly tough needle to thread setting this in Gaza pre-10/7 but deftly handled. Blazed through it. Hard to believe this is a debut novel. #booksky 💙📚

Jackbooted thugs
While masked agents were violently attacking a delivery worker this morning, bystanders repeatedly asked to see their badge numbers but they refused.

Bystander: You guys are ruining this country, you know that, right?

Agent: Liberals already ruined it.

Judge Boasberg was a prosecutor when I was a public defender. We battled. Hard. He is a paragon of integrity. This attack, to use a technical legal term, is just so deeply fucked.

Trump's SEC has dropped a major lawsuit against Binance, the world's largest crypto exchange.

This comes just weeks after the Trump family's crypto venture (World Liberty Financial) helped broker a $2B deal between Binance and a UAE state-backed firm.

It's all out in the open.

When the crowd said people will die due to Medicaid and SNAP cuts, she said: "well we all are going to die." 🫠🫠🫠🫠
