Just want to say, I see all the comments saying it’s a sign of his senility or mental decline. You could be right but I have a thing about linking racism to mental acuity. Not sure it needs to be, most of the time, and I don’t like the idea of racism as deviant, for a lot of reasons.

Three thoughts.

1. It’s always been about the white nationalism

2. He is returning to the old favorites because his support is waning

3. He dabbled with this trope before but would always leave a hair of deniability. Going straight there also seems like a sign of weakness

Facebook, which I basically don’t use at all anymore, reminds me that I defended my dissertation 10 years ago today. Apologies to everyone who is still waiting on me to finish a book about Aphrahat. 🙃

Minnesota has now been turned into a war zone by a federal government that has lost sight of the values that make America great.

We must impeach Kristi Noem and abolish ICE.

there will not be “swing states” in november. there will be, depending on national conditions, anywhere from 25 to 75 competitive House races. they will be in states led by republicans and democrats, and the key voters will likely be people who swing between the parties.

one thing i have noticed is a lot of folks do not seem to understand the difference between a presidential election and 435+ legislative elections. i have seen any number of people say that you could subvert the outcome this november by targeting “swing states,” which does not make any sense.

Can comfirm from MN, as can anyone who lives here, that not a THING has changed except little Bovino isnt peacocking around the streets anymore. And there hasn’t been a third high-profile murder of a white person yet.

But the gestapo attacks haven’t stopped. At all! bsky.app/profile/jyse...
ICE hasn't stopped brutalizing people or shredding the Constitution, it's just that corporate media turned the camera as the call for action got too loud and the Democrats stepped in and made sure the issue got changed.

If you sit for a second, you'll recognize that's what happened with BLM, too.
