You should get KLR 24 because it has my story in it, obviously, but you should really absolutely just order a book from Malarkey because you’ll get the zine anyway!
Have put a lot of books in the mail in the last week, but also zines. First batch of Hellarkey is out and over 100 copies of King Ludd’s Rag, featuring stories by Tori Rego and @jedwardgregal.bsky.social, have gone out, many just as a bonus with another book that sold. Buy a book, get a zine too!

Yikes, what a hell of a few years it’s been for Laird. The resilience his characters display in the face of hardship has been a big inspiration in my personal life, glad he’s holding it down in his own and still kicking. But yikes, man.

This is the first piece I’ve read presenting where we go from here with any clarity. A blue state coalition, selective compliance, secession, and/or international intervention look a lot more effective than relying on the broken electoral system that ushered in the fascism in the first place.

1: throwing a sandwich at a federal officer is a violent assault worthy of prosecution.
