True, the Supreme Court can’t overrule or rewrite the Constitution. But they CAN “interpret” it. Therein lies the problem. Because this Court has perverted the law so many times, even clauses that seem thoroughly immutable can’t be considered safe.
There isn’t much for our Supreme Court to hear, the Constitution is already clear. And just to be absolutely clear: the Supreme Court does not have the power to overrule or rewrite our Constitution.
