The coordinated nature of this—none are facing voters in 2026—means that either Schumer approved it or failed in his job as Senate Majority Leader to stop it.

Dems voting "no" get zero credit until they demand a change in leadership. Schumer out as Leader, Durbin out as Whip.
so currently defectors are:

Kaine (2030)
Shaheen (Retiring)
Hasan (2028)
Fetterman (2028)
Durbin (Retiring)
CCM (2028)
Rosen (2030)
King (2030)

Senator Schumer is no longer effective and should be replaced. If you can’t lead the fight to stop healthcare premiums from skyrocketing for Americans, what will you fight for?

The Democratic Party has shown that they are unwilling to actually help their constituents. The only people they are willing to help are the wealthy and those they see as an avenue to gain or hold more power. They will literally kill millions of us if it allows them to maintain their status quo.

In honor of Eric Adams dropping out, I'm now resharing my all-time favorite bit of Eric Adams content

for years, this thing was like my video from The Ring, where I had to get other people to watch it in order for me to stay alive

Six nominations for this amazing ensemble! Honored to have played a part in bringing this production together.
Chicago’s Steppenwolf Theatre Company woke up Thursday morning to boffo Tony Award news as plaudits landed on its world premiere production of Branden Jacobs-Jenkins’ drama, “Purpose,” a bold play very loosely based on the family of political activist Jesse Jackson Jr. and now playing on Broadway.
2025 Tony Award nominations: Steppenwolf’s ‘Purpose’ and ‘Death Becomes Her’ both score big
Three Broadway shows stood out in the list of nominations —  “Buena Vista Social Club,” “Death Becomes Her” and “Maybe Happy Ending,” each earning 10 nominations Thursday.

It's time for change! I've appreciated and supported Jan Schakowsky, but the Boomers and Silent Generation have been in control for far too long and look where it has gotten us. Looking forward to supporting Kat as our next Illinois 9th District representative!

Steppenwolf triumphs again with "Fool for Love," a play perfectly suited for theater's acting artistry. Critic Steven Oxman gives it 4/4 Chicago stars.

Company veteran Caroline Neff and newcomer Nick Gehlfuss perfectly inhabit the volatile couple in Sam Shepard's twisted love story.

My grandmother gave me this Jimmy Carter statue of hers before she passed away, and we've proudly displayed it for years. Every time I see it, I'm reminded of the kindness and empathy that both Carter and my grandma embodied. The world could certainly use more of those qualities. Rest well, Jimmy.
