My grandmother gave me this Jimmy Carter statue of hers before she passed away, and we've proudly displayed it for years. Every time I see it, I'm reminded of the kindness and empathy that both Carter and my grandma embodied. The world could certainly use more of those qualities. Rest well, Jimmy.

Sam, this whole thread is spot on. Poison, though, has become one of my favorites. At the beginning we think that Cumberbatch is the victim and the snake is the aggressor. But the reversal at the end serves as perfect allegory for a colonialist holding power over indigenous people.
