His parents are legal asylum seekers with no criminal record.

Massive rally in Chicago today! Thank you Chicago.
Good afternoon from downtown Chicago, where despite heavy snowfall, thousands have gathered for an anti-ICE/CBP demonstration in solidarity with the Twin Cities. More are still streaming in.

Lt. Illinois Gov. Juliana Stratton just addressed the crowd, and called for ICE to be abolished.

Gavin Newsom just announced that California will be the first state to join the World Health Organization.

This is in direct defiance of Donald Trump, who just pulled the United States out of the organization.

Clergy at a news conference yesterday. Today, clergy were at the airport, supported by 1000's of protesters.
The person speaking in the picture is Bishop Budde, who preached courageously after Trump's inauguration. Behind her is Bishop Nagel of the ELCA's Mpls synod.

I came to Minneapolis to report on what's going on, and one of the main questions I showed up with is "just what is the scale of the resistance?" After all, we're all used to the news calling Portland a "war zone" or whatever when it's just some protests in one part of town.

To the British parliament (I think)--treat Trump like the bully he is. Kudos to Ed Davey.
Ed Davey -
Trump is acting like an international gangster.
The Prime Minister has tried appeasing him for 12 months and has failed. It's time we finally stood up to him and united with our European allies to make him back down.

A month later, Trump's winery filed to hire 36 foreign, temporary workers.

The rate? Almost $2/hour less than in 2025.
