Basically it seems the conservative justices will freely cherrypick both history and European laws to support a preferred outcome, but ignore them in all other cases. Which is not a legitimate way to do originalism or comparative legal analysis!

I also can't get over the conservative justices favorably citing European laws about transgender health care when they vociferously refuse to consider other nation's laws and traditions when dealing with issues on which the U.S. is an outlier, like gun violence and the death penalty.

It's just pure hatred. Meanwhile, Dems are acting like this is about sports. More than 15k active duty troops could be immediately discharged. They could immediately lose all veterans and GI benefits depending on how they're discharged.

I understand we have to be nice to the people literally signing our death warrants who claim that they need “incentives” to implement known best practices. What approach do you suggest?

Raised crosswalks demand motorist attention and naturally enforce speed calming, making modal conflict points safer for everyone. Proper design prioritizes safety. No sign alone can achieve that.
