It’s been said that when you’re angry at someone you should write a scathing letter to that person and then not mail it. And I agree. A singing telegram is way better because then sometimes their neighbors can hear too

Teabags aren’t as strong as they used to be. I split it almost every cup I make and I never used to. I haven’t changed the way I make tea so it must be the bags have got thinner. This is intolerable and something must be done to rectify this atrocity to an English staple.

Politicians hate it, but those of us who live in the real world should be endlessly grateful that the civil service is as inflexible as they are. Imagine if these loons had free reign to do everything they want? Thankfully we have a professional core who can sanitise plans.

Before America voted for Trump a second time I’d never realised how racist, xenophobic, misogynistic, homophobic, and ignorant America was. Now the veneer of decency has peeled away and we’ve seen their true face no matter what happens in the future, everything American will be forever tarnished.

Ive been in educ for 37 yrs.
I've learned new tech initially makes u more efficient & saves u time, but then u r given new tasks & that extra time disappears & u have even less time.
More responsibilities & less time.
No wonder there r so many mental health issues.

So the best part of my lesson on Friday was when the students discovered I had been anonymously putting cat stickers on my colleagues stuff in the office. The students then demanded cat stickers to put on their own things. These are third year university students in their early twenties. ☺️

I'm so sick of hearing these whines about higher costs for employers. What they're really moaning about is people - particularly in the public sector - getting long overdue pay rises. As anyone should know, if poorer people have more money they spend it and it's good for the economy. #r4today
