"I'm going to tax the everloving shit out of the rich people who made your life miserable and put every masked thug who broke the law or traitor who wrecked the government for their own profit in prison" I admit is too long for a sign, but at the very least this should be the spirit of the thing.

So. Look here's the thing: if you live in Illinois, it's already too late to get on the primary ballot for next year, & those particular Senators from Maine, Nevada, Pennsylvania, & Virginia aren't up for reelection until 2028 or '30, but Shaheen is up next year, & you can start the others whenever

Yes. I had to get help via mutual aid like mad to get through my transition. OF FUCKING COURSE I'm gonna reskeet a ton of #mutualaid posting when it hits my dash. How we fuckin do.

And yes, if you're trans, add your #ma #signalboost posts here, I'll bump those too.

Halloween has been getting harder and harder. More losses in the family near Halloween. Some days it feels like instead of the Final Destination death, there's a universal Force that's just Calendar Man from The Long Halloween actively shitting on days important to you.

They must be insufferable.

Our #ttrpg group has used Microscope to build our last two campaign game worlds. Great for that or any night you want a fun storytelling one off.
I just wrote an article on my experience playing the collaborative storytelling game Microscope: Chronicle. It's written by @lamemage.com and is in playtesting now!

To paraphrase Simone Weil (the better Simone) in THE NEED FOR ROOTS, the difference between a need and a desire is that a need can be sated, and desire never can be.
Guillermo del Toro on wealth: "a wealthy man is a man who has enough, not a man that needs more. If you have enough to invite someone for a beer? You're rich. If you have a yacht, planes, islands, and you still need more? You're not rich."

Don't piss me off, a vampire cop would not be able to enter your house with a warrant. Consent in this form is a social arrangement and not a political one.

Now, with Crimson Howl wrapped up, maybe I can get this game design out of my head. It's based on Caltrop Core and influenced by Killer Ratings, 10 Candles, and an older game that had ideas I really liked but was written by someone chased out of the industry as a predator so it doesn't get oxygen

Wrapping up my share of edits on Crimson Howl book 3. Crimson Howl book 2 got its last pass and went in already. It's been a long time coming. They're Paul's babies but damn it feels good to have the gloves off and make it clear that these aren't Golden Age nostalgia pieces - they're hit pieces.
