It's so great when universities are like 'We're going all in on AI' but they never talk about anything specific. It's all just vague language about innovation and the power and magic of tech. They might as well be making calls for going all in on alchemy.

Alabama under Kay Ivey has been ratcheting up executions at a terrifying rate over the last five years or so. Just horrifying.
"The death penalty is supposed to be reserved for the worst offenders, but the judge sentenced Mr. Boyd to death even though the State’s own evidence showed he was not even the worst of the four co-defendants."

The president just gathered the highest ranking officers in the military to tell them that he may order them to kill American citizens -- and that they better follow his orders. All in response to a series of crises that have no basis in reality.
