If you add up all the fossil power plants in Germany you get 70 GW. The average energy use is 50 GW.

Now know that there is a backlog of battery project seeking approval of over 225 GW!

This indeed is a tsunami! And we'd better learn how integrate these batteries into the grid fast!

Outside academia, “congestion pricing” sounds like a term coined by the idea’s opponents, because it combines words for 2 unpleasant things, like “death taxes.” The better terms “decongestion pricing” or “congestion relief zone” describe what the price buys for those who pay it.

The idea that young people think Elon is cool is beyond parody. Every single person I met on Xitter who sung his praises (thousands of them over the years) was a middle-aged white guy.
"The shades, the bomber jacket, the whole vibe. Elon makes us cool" Nigel Farage claims of Elon Musk, who is close to Donald Trump as one of the least popular public figures in Britain, across all age groups.

Thank you

the world's coral reefs would like to have a word about "no domino effects" but they've already collapsed
I don’t think it’s useful at all. We’ll breach 1.5C, no domino effects will happen immediately and climate scientists will have to spend time explaining that such statement wasn’t based on scientific evidence…

I know Biden is quite unpopular, but my honest view: the man weaponized being exceptionally boring to pass the most progressive set of policies a USA administration has seen in many decades. He got some things wrong, but he also got nowhere near the credit he deserved for what he accomplished.
It’s not Tim Ryan’s fault for not knowing Biden already did this in February.

The core problem is Biden did so much but was unable to sell any of it to a population largely unable or unwilling to hear it.
