ICE has kidnapped so many people from their cars that the city had to put out this statement. Let that sink in.
Vehicles that are abandoned due to an ICE detention and towed to the City's impound lot will be released to their owners or a representative at no cost.

We see the results of the rigorous recruitment process documented in Slate this week.
Unacceptable. A road — possibly associated with Tren de Aragua — left unpaved by Minnesota radicals weaponized itself against two of our courageous officers, causing one to discharge his firearm in self-defense.

We stand by our brave boys.

The explosives thrown at the minivan caused its airbags to deploy, and the chemical weapons thrown into the van caused 3 children to need to be hospitalized including a 6 month old baby who stopped breathing. These attempts to disperse crowds are not benign.

It’ll be dangerously cold this weekend in the Twin Cities. Windchills will reach -20°. With how violently ICE is grabbing people, they might not be dressed for the weather, especially if ICE keeps dumping people miles from their home or car without their phone. Frostbite hits quickly at these temps.

They hired this journalist despite a possibly positive drug test, despite not filling out any of the background check paperwork or doing anything other than showing up in person to a recruitment and taking a drug test later. South Park was right. www.youtube.com/watch?v=kD4E...

The federal workforce union representation has fallen by about half a million workers since this adminisration started. This is not just due to new hiring of non-union workers.

25 percentage points lower call back for applicants with a video that reveals a wheelchair vs not is a huge effect!
These authors wanted to know whether people with physical disabilities face discrimination in hiring: even when they are equally qualified.

So they ran an experiment.

Pressuring the fed into changing monetary policy by threatening criminal charges seems impeachable. Good for Jerome Powell for standing up today and saying what's happening. #citizensimpeachment

Worth remembering that Franco’s fascists murdered 150,000-200,000 Spaniards during their rule, and Spain still has the greatest number of disappeared persons in Europe.

Yes, JD. Let’s ask them if they think a stay at home mom, avowed Christian, and widow of a veteran deserved to be shot in the face and left to bleed out in her own car after dropping her 6-year-old off at school, for the crime of looking out for her neighbors. Let’s ask everyone running for office.

US hegemony is better than hegemony by an authoritarian power and also a strong motivation for the US to live up to its promises to the entire population. The current administration's hegemonic suicide of withdrawing from international treaties and its domestic repression are not unrelated.

A reminder that you are free to look at a video online, decide what it means, and proclaim that to anyone who'll listen. The NYT, NPR, CNN and all other journalists can't do that, out of professional responsibility and their own vulnerability at this moment. Give the journalists time to work.

"This is an overthrow of a foreign government. It’s an act of war. It is an open-ended declaration of foreign occupation. ...That’s what’s impeachable. If Trump understood what he was saying, he was violating all concepts of checks-and-balances. If he didn’t understand, he is incapacitated."

Rep. Dan Goldman stands for impeachment. Thank you!
President Trump’s unauthorized military action in Venezuela is unconstitutional, dangerous, and an impeachable abuse of power. Congress alone has the authority to declare war and Trump is once again ignoring the law to serve his own interests.

"[T]he Russians at this particular juncture were signaling..they wanted to somehow make some very strange swap arrangement between Venezuela and Ukraine.... you have your Monroe doctrine. You want us out of your backyard. Well, you know, we have our own version...You're in our backyard in Ukraine."
During Fiona Hill's testimony to Congress on Oct 14, 2019, she described how Trump and Putin discussed exchanging Ukraine for Venezuela. The quid pro quo was if Trump refuses to help Ukraine fight off a Russian invasion, Putin would not help Venezuela (a Russian ally) resist a US takeover.

Trump's hand is fake. His real hand was removed. The insiders all know it. Signatures with a fake hand aren't constitutional.
I am determined as God is my witness to start the Trump fake hand conspiracy theory. His hand isn't showing signs of an undisclosed illness. It's a fake painted Halloween costume hand because his hand was already removed. It's time.
