The future is group chats
I feel for the people who post their selfies and discover, instantly, weirdos using grok to pornify them.

Had a hunch where this was going in 2021 and stopped posting pics of myself/any pics/details about family. But if you're, say, a cosplayer who can benefit from a big audience, you're screwed.

I'm increasingly convinced that the dead internet theory is real. In 10-20 years I wonder if the internet will be like cable television. Yeah, it's there but no one under the age of 75 uses it or takes it seriously.
It's weird to not only have lived through an information revolution but also now living through its undoing, all within less than a generation.
Google at its peak was basically the best information retrieval system in human history and they and every competitor decided going from there to “you didn’t want answers you wanted half-assed auto-complete 80%-wrong hallucinations” in a few years was the right idea

They’ll be playing Fat Joe instead.
The New York Yankees are changing another iconic tradition in 2025.

Following losses, the Yankees will no longer play Frank Sinatra’s “(Theme From) New York, New York” as fans exit the stadium.

Yankees will no longer play Frank Sinatra’s ‘New York, New York’ after losses
The Yankees played Sinatra’s "That's Life" instead of the usual "New York, New York" on the loudspeakers after Sunday's 4-0 defeat.
