In case anyone is wondering, “decarbonized oil and gas” does not exist, is a complete contradiction in terms, and a dangerous lie that Canadian government after Canadian government has tried to spin under the spell of industry lobbying. How disappointing.

Looks like an inversion, where cold, still and (in this case) dirty air gets stuck at the bottom of the atmosphere.

I took this the other day from the top of Gipsy Hill, phone camera didn't quite capture the colours right, it was like the sheen of spilled diesel oil on the surface of a puddle.

Car exhausts and tyre debris, central heating, wood burning. Yesterday's sunshine reacting with car exhausts. Very low wind and other weather factors trap the pollution at ground level. Just as bad today. @mumsforlungs.bsky.social can advise.
