a thing that i think that may be uncharitable: hating small talk is simply being the "uncomfortable when we are not about me" bird. only when the conversation turns to you or your interests will you deem the talk unsmall
people bitch about small talk, but small talk — and being able to shoot the shit with a stranger — is a key fucking social skill, and while i understand it doesn’t come naturally to everyone, it *is* one that’s useful and worth working on

I’ve been very stressed/freaked out at losing my excellent health insurance at the end of the year, but I was relieved to find out that I do qualify for WA’s Medicare program and it’s surprisingly really comprehensive. But literally if you make our local min wage full time, you no longer qualify

Today’s naan posting: tired of only getting 4 pieces in a Trader Joe’s bag, today I went to an Indian grocery and got a little over excited and bought a “family pack” of 16. I have a small freezer, so this was kind of dumb, but I made it fit! Also impulse bought rasmalai and pistachio cookies
What is up with grocery store “naan?” It doesn’t feel or taste like naan other than it’s also a flat bread. It’s more like pita. Frozen naan from Indian stores of Trader Joe’s only!

*Almost* beat Olympus for the first time last night (Hades 2 talk). My build was glorious. I was basically doing 600-700 damage on top of my regular damage with every other hit. THE POWER FEELS GOOD
