In the “Everything is a fake/slop/scam” realm, now you can’t even look up types of flowers w/o a bunch of weird fake fantastical colored/shaped flowers popping up for sale as seeds on Etsy and sketchy websites. Although some are so fake they’re hilarious:

Chugging away on my cover project! I wanted to share some of the thousands of small decisions that go in to everything. Namely I changed & tweaked this dude's face & head SO many times before I was relatively satisfied!! We'll see if it changes again after colors!

I walked to the hardware store today and bought a $6 light up Halloween necklace so I could extract the small light strand for my wizard staff. But after managing to remove one plastic ghost, the lights stopped working. 😢 If only I understood electronic wiring

After some pissy starts, I'm happy w/ some progress I've made on my book cover project! I usually don't do a color comp until I do finished linework, but this time I decided to work on color comps with only sketches. Still comping the book graphic design elements as well.

Went to a weeb store after seeing Chainsaw Man yesterday and they had flippin Takopi plushies!! In case you want a snuggly friend who reminds you of child abuse/neglect and all the horrors of the world! There was also a lot of Made in Abyss merch, so the store owner clearly loves trauma anime 😆

After always feeling like I dont have enough storytelling in my art/portfolio, I got a jolt of inspo & came up with a sketch for a book cover illustration. However the past few days, actually WORKING on it has been SO hard, my focus is shot. Heres a potato-quality WIP preview to say I did something🫠
