I just want to point out that Bovino's response to Bill gives away the underlying worldview: Sympathizing with (black and brown) immigrants over (white) American citizens makes you a (race) traitor, which makes you a part of the "problem" (and thereby deserving of same treatment as the immigrants)

Had a dream that I posted a rather mean-spirited quote of a post, and it triggered a Bluesky-wide pile on, even after deleting the post quickly. It was terrible, and I was so relieved it was just a dream.

Turns out that music I really love in a language I don’t speak is my primary motivator for learning languages. I wouldn’t want it any other way.
