Good result for people actually doing the creating, as opposed to shovelling artless slop ‘content’.
Some good news, for anybody that doesn’t want to be strapped to a machine teat and force-fed word gruel for the rest of all time.

On the other… no, that appears to be empty.

Tebbit was one of the architects of Section 28 which sought to prohibit ‘the promotion of homosexuality.’ This law emboldened bigots and silenced many librarians and teachers, including some of mine. As a gay kid I was left without official support from my school. It was terrifying and cruel.

Blue Labour seem to have this notion that decent, hard-working people are soot-encrusted, semi-literate bigots and that the only way to combat Reform is to don its face, while offering essentially a 2010-15 austerity status quo rejected by Brexit. Keep these people away from government.

Those trying to understand the tariffs as economic policy are dangerously naive.

No, the tariffs are a tool to collapse our democracy. A means to compel loyalty from every business that will need to petition Trump for relief.

Today let's remember that austerity kills. 🧵

Researchers at the University of Glasgow, found that an additional 335,000 deaths occurred in Scotland, England, and Wales between 2012 and 2019 compared to what was expected based on previous trends.

The cruelty is a feature, not a bug. Trump made this very clear in term 1 and it was either why people voted for him again, or it wasn't a big enough problem to deter voters. It was inevitable regardless, and so much of this could have been avoided if Biden had known when to walk away.
Individual Border Patrol agents knew they were doing this, and a supervisor signed off on it.

Maybe literally one fucking American newspapers could mention this in their, “think pieces,” about what happened yesterday.

Jesus. It’s not even a nuanced view. Just desperate, pitiful simping. Years to come - and in my deepest fears, after the next world war - there’ll still be no reckoning for pedlars kind of sycophancy and appeasement as they look for the next boot to suck on.

Why on earth are any left of centre parties labouring under the misapprehension that the rules are still worth a jot in the battle against fascists? If only one side is playing by rules, that makes them chumps. Possibly honourable, but chumps and losers all the same. Musk and Reform aren’t playing.

We've all done it on occasion but it doesn't make you some productivity hero, and it's a terrible message to send to staff under you when you make it clear, as she does, that it's an expectation.
