Give the patient the power to do what? Buy a junk insurance? Because unless they are planning to give everyone $60,000 a year, it’s not gonna work. And I am not even talking about insurances being free again to deny claims, refuse coverage for preexisting conditions, etc.,etc.

Technically, garden gnome Mike is not wrong calling what they do to Medicaid “real reform”. Just a teeny-tiny correction though: they are not “fighting FOR healthcare”, they are fighting healthcare.
