Hey!

Do YOU like the idea of an incredibly dense piece of lesbian fantasy fiction featuring a non-binary transfem vampire prince constantly going through it in order to ease the burden weighing upon an increasing number of beloved women in their lives?

Depths of Promises Sworn
Before the blood of a predecessor staining Ayre’s fangs has a chance to dry, a decision is made to bargain the freshly elevated Fourteenth Vylian Prince off to a sister imperial power. Not a week’s ri...

You ever just write a character you have no idea others will like? Like. She is DISTINCTLY written for you in ways that are very quietly pleasant and loudly unpleasant but in ways that make her easier for you to trust because she is unapologetically flawed in a way that seems honest to you?

Today I and Nevarii were invited to help paint/decorate trenches my bestie and their partner produced w/ their new FDM printer.

I've never made terrain before. Was super nervous.

The moment comes, and I immediately take to measuring out hand cut and sculpted terrain bits for Trench Crusade.

I really hate that americans are not allowed to openly express how they feel about this anymore, they can't truly say what they feel or how angry they are or even experience an emotion vocally because they'll get banned or suspended or whatever. Even being allegorical isn't allowed

being forced to downplay your true rage and anger at this, and have to be like "geez I feel angry!! I wish something could be done!!" you can't even say something like how you wish what they did to others this morning gets done to them without risking a ban.
I feel like this is just... detrimental

"I really wish people were angrier about this"

they can't even fucking say how they feel anymore, not on bluesky, not anywhere. I'm so beyond disappointed in bluesky for how heavy-handed their moderation is, it isn't even just for explicit things, it's just for insinuation or even vibes

i want to create a conceptual weapon against the phrase “for the male gaze” and wipe it from existence. like not just rhe phrase itself but everything that it embodies and the ways in which it is weaponized against lesbians (even by other lesbians)

“this lesbian author needs to pay rent so she writes lesbian fiction that appeals to the male gaze”

what the fuck are we even doing here?

1) kill the fucking cop in your head

2) kill the hypothetical man in your head that *might* like the same thing you do and quit spiraling into shame and self-doubt over liking it when women fist one another (just an example).

Post a meme made by you.

I need to update this now that I've actually seen Book 2's ending and cried for nearly an hour. My beloved Lyra and Tretion and Awnya and Raska ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

I do think an overwhelming and unavoidable part of Deadlock's visual success comes from "the people who made Team Fortress 2 finally unlocked Women"

I suggest 2003. :)
Maybe instead of identifying specific ICE agents who do particularly heinous things, we could just penalize everyone who was on payroll at the agency starting by a certain date.

Started playing Cult of the Lamb.

This game is so satisfying. I was ambivalent about my time being spent doing action combat but the spells are all so satisfying and there are dice games and other zones to unlock + explore that are the real appeal on top of the management layer.

the Golden Age of RTS is replete with soap opera drama and melodramatic casts (Starcraft's Kerrigan and Mengsk et al, Kane in C&C, Fleet Command and Mothership and the Bentusi in Homeworld, WARCRAFT 3) and the more people try to recapture the golden age of starcraft without that, the worse it fails

even tabletop games have this. Horus Heresy is like "what if 40k was almost all just space marines" and that would NOT work if it didn't have a cast of these overdramatic theater kids we call "Primarchs"
