Because what I am doing with Aelinore and Theriya is uh... a lot in a very small word count after all my setup is finished.

I have this lovely little build up promising a big ol reunion and it just doesn't play out that way that force little resolutions before the big ones.

Which is fine. There's a wedding after this for the delayed romantic gratification after I have finished the catharsis bits.

Sometimes writing/editing is a lot harder than you're expecting it to be and you can SEE in your mind where it needs to be, you just gotta work through it and pick at what is missing until it is satisfying.

That said, the only other edits needed are all focused on Amari, Astraea, and Aelinore so they should go much faster.

So much of my time spent finding the best words has already been spent on them.

I just kinda thought I'd be nearing the end already and am trying not to get discouraged.
