It took a huge amount of vision to see the potential of what this park could deliver in the aftermath of Sandy, and to see it realized is so rewarding. Huge credit to the local leaders, NYCHA TAs, and community organizers who made this a reality when no one believed it could be done.

We'll have to see whether the new resiliency infrastructure will withstand another superstorm, but we're happy to report that the park itself is, so far, a smashing success.
