The open secret that Thomas King is not Indigenous at all is finally verified, and honestly it's a relief. Having him just confess this instead of going out kicking and screaming like so many before him causes a LOT less harm to Indigenous communities.

In general, I'd argue that scholarship on non-Jewish victims of the Third Reich is essential, necessary, and a needed counterweight to oversimplified narratives of the Holocaust.
But Jews were far and away the primary TARGETS of the Third Reich, even if they weren't its only victims.

Periodic reminder that about 50% of yearly US government spending (about 2.6 TRILLION dollars) goes to pay for current and prior military expenditures. Remember that next time a politician of any party tells you there "isn't money" for something.
In both cases, their reason for believing this is the US military. Which isn't a terrible reason, unfortunately. But probably not as ironclad as they think.
