There is a tremendous opportunity for a brand new generation of media outlets to rise up right now because many news outlets that spent decades painstakingly building their credibility are seeing it torched by bootlickers with incredible speed.

I tell my students explicitly to NOT do this and then I explain why - full of hallucinations, stolen material, mischaracterizations.
What about this is controversial? Beginning an inquiry by using AI to survey material is a very normal and appropriate use.

Odd and criminal
It's very odd that the Constitution has a very specific method for amendment requiring approval by broad swaths of the US population, yet 5 justices of the Supreme Court can simply alter its meaning by judicial fiat. Seems like a bad loophole to have.

For 200yrs conservatives despised Paine & scorned his memory. One can understand why. Endowing us with democratic impulses & aspirations, Paine turned Americans into radicals—and we have remained radicals at heart ever since. Tragically the Dems - for whom I vote - refuse to engage that spirit….

I believe the US economy’s productivity would at least double if we implemented a universal basic income and made healthcare and education totally free with no strings attached. For example, no matter the cost of cancer treatment, a patient would never have to worry about paying medical bills.
