LEAVE TRANS KIDS ALONE JFC
The thing that boggles my mind about the hate against trans people is, like, even if you don't believe them about their lived experiences and are firmly entrenched in the "there are only two genders" crap, isn't it obvious that as a group they deserve compassion? That they don't have it easy?

The tactics Trump used with Zelensky don’t shock Black USians because the gov has always used the same with us:

1) Be respectful/“professional” even if they aren’t.
2) To get help, expect to give up resources.
3) Be thankful/grovel for crumbs or be punished.
4) Say/do what they want or expect rage.

I will keep repeating it. Elon Musk is the most dangerous man in the United States. He is a clear and present danger to every American citizen. What he's doing will make you sicker, more exposed to extreme weather, and more likely to die.

He is a dire threat to your life.

I don't think men who want to subjugate women understand how that would look.

If you remove my freedoms and put me in some man's home against my will, you'd better never put anything sharp in my hand ever again.

The right wing trap is: “We don’t need African American history because it’s American history” only to mandate teaching American history through a false, Eurocentric view that erases or omits any counter-narrative. They feign care about African American history to erase it from curriculums. /1

Somehow while our world is collapsing around us, the oligarchs have gained control of the U.S., and global warming is in "runaway doomsday mode," my brain still finds time to worry that Someone, Somewhere might be angry at me.

To be honest I cannot understand anyone who's NOT depressed and anxious right now. But that's the problem, isn't it? I'm depressed and anxious, so I stay home. Shit, I'll never meet the perfect depressed and anxious mess of a man like this. He's probably home, too.

But it feels very isolating to WANT to talk about it. How do you grieve when people don't care or don't believe you have anything to grieve over in the first place?

I don't know how folks keep climate change from being the focus of every conversation. How can you look outside and see no bugs, or wake up to the sound of no birds, and not notice or want to talk about it? Even if you aren't aware of the current state of the science, surely you'd notice?
