This is a United States Senator mocking the assassination of a Minnesota legislator and her husband. He pretends to be a good Mormon. He’s a sick fuck.

“Three things made the US a rich and powerful nation: the rule of law, its science & innovation system, and openness to foreign talent. Remarkable how Trump has taken a sledgehammer to all three. No enemy of this country could do more.”
A Permanent Stain on Our History
The Trump administration’s embrace of nativism is as shameful as it is self-destructive.

Often as history passes events - particularly those that shape the future - begin to seem as if they were always going to happen that way. Here’s an interesting look at a snippet of one of those events.

There is no way Ukraine could trust the current US government with info that they had operatives behind enemy lines in Russia to execute this operation. Telling that to the Trump admin would put their lives in even greater danger than they already were.

NEWS: The Ninth Circuit, on a 2-1 vote, denied DOJ's request for a stay pending appeal of the injunction barring Trump-directed, wide-scale, mass firings (RIFs) across the government. In short, the order blocking RIFs remains in effect.

Hey, if the media is interested in a cover-up of a senile president who's not really in control of his White House, there's one going on right now?

The FBI is disbanding a squad that handles investigations into members of Congress and fraud by federal employees, according to people familiar with the matter, a move that comes as the Trump administration seeks to eliminate or marginalize units responsible for public corruption cases.

Glad someone is saying this
Rep. Julie Johnson to Noem: "Are you aware that ICE agent jackets are available on Etsy for $20? Anybody can throw a mask on and run around and terrorize people of color without any regard for the law because your agency does not have proper protocols to make sure your agents are clearly identified"

Elon Musk says the US government is doing a "quiet trial" of the "gold card," a flatly illegal concept billed as letting people buy a green card for $5 million.

No law allows this. The closest thing, EB-5, requires investment in a US business that creates at least 10 new jobs.

Art of the deal.
For those confused by the China tariff news:

• Trump caved and got zero in return
• No manufacturing moved back to the USA
• 30% tariff is still a huge tax on Americans
• 90 day pause still causes uncertainty
• Trump lost all negotiating leverage

This is authoritarianism
Escalate and intimidate. That is exactly the playbook.

And it concerns me greatly: You know the Stephen Miller types in this administration are just itching for violence - searching, longing for something they can use as pretext for a drastic escalation so they can finally ditch all restraint.
Having now watched the footage and interview two of the members who were there, the amount of armed, masked federal agents surrounding three members of Congress and a mayor outside the ICE facility was totally unnecessary; the only possible reason for it was intentional escalation and intimidation.

-He’s trying to repeal limits on lead exposure and cancel grants that protect kids from chemicals

-Car seat and stroller prices are up due to tariffs

I’m still baffled at how America took one of the basic principles of the presidency — the occupant shouldn’t be able to benefit financially from the office — and just said, nah, that just doesn’t count for this one guy.
An international trucking logistics firm is buying as much as *** $20 MILLION *** worth of President Donald Trump’s crypto coins to influence the administration’s trade policy.
