This entire grift relies on convincing people that they don't know how to do the things they have always known how to do, and ironically, if it works, we will, in a very short amount of time, forget how to do all the things we have always known how to do.

Nina Cresswell did what every survivor is told to do: she went to the police and reported a sexual assault. She expected to be properly supported. But she wasn’t.

Now, after a judge found Nina was telling the truth about the attack, she’s taking the police to task:

1. A landmark study was just published in The Journal of Pediatrics.

It found a 68% reduction in suicidality for trans youth getting HRT.

It also found only 7 of more than 400 stopped taking HRT... and of those that did, 4 still identified as gender-diverse.

Transgender care saves lives.
Study In The Journal Of Pediatrics Finds Trans Youth Care Lowers Suicidality, Few Detransition
The groundbreaking study found that suicidality dropped for transgender youth receiving hormone therapy by nearly 70%, with only 7 patients of 432 discontinuing treatment.

🕯️ Today, we remember and mourn the ones we have lost.

We will continue to fight for trans rights and equality while doing what we can to protect our community by holding people in power to account.

Encouraging the policing of public spaces based on appearance and gender stereotypes is no way for a human rights regulator to behave.

The EHRC’s proposed Code of Practice is a misogynist’s charter, and the government must reject it.

Today we remember and grieve all those we have lost. But we also commit – collectively – to fighting for those of us who are left. There will be hope as long as we continue to stand together.

Excellent overview of the Good Law Project vs EHRC legal case.

It makes it clear that the EHRC - pushed by a few ‘gender critical’ transphobes at board level - has gone rogue… Even the Equalities Minister seems to be recognising it now!

This is despicable.

Streeting has repeatedly made Trans people less safe and fed the transphobic culture war.

Washing his hands of the consequences to position himself for a leadership bid shows just how craven he really is.

The government are both cruel and bad at governing and there is no other explanation for this.
The government argues its PIP cuts won't hit as many people as feared because applicants will appeal against rejections

But DWP figures show a ten-month average wait for appeals. And that's before demand rises with the cuts

By me, for Big Issue:
