Always funny when the booth for a pentesting firm gives away pens that don't work. You had one job, dude.

I'm begging you, with tears in my eyes, if you have a support contract for a piece of software please talk to support or at least read the documentation before following the recommendations of some AI bot.

Sign of the economic times - this weekend I spent $250 on a grocery trip. A trip to Aldi.

For two hundred and fifty American dollars I should be leaving Aldi with a small automobile, an off-brand laptop, and an ownership stake in that location.

"You're almost done setting up your PC!"

Uh, this PC is many years old and running Windows 10, I assure you, it's as set up as it's going to be.

The weather outside is frightful,
but hacking's quite delightful
Looks like the weather is going to be cold this weekend - no better time to stay inside, stay warm, and submit your talk to our CFP! Now accepting submissions for four different tracks, we'd love to hear from you!

Many of our flagship public universities are actually real estate and professional sports ventures with a small side hustle in educating students.
Of course, there's no mention of the 200+ degree programs she cut or consolidated to help pay for this historic football win (by tripling the football budget).

I lost my schedule, is it time for this fight again? I thought we'd moved back to "are certifications really important" or "should we release offensive security tools on Github".
no, you're wrong. using one of these books is infinitely preferable to someone using nothing but a reused password 9,000 times. they're especially good for older people who don't go out much. if your book is at risk in your home, you have bigger problems than "they're going to steal my amazon login"

If only Congress were showing one tenth as much backbone as the average Minneapolis wine mom.
The choice is impeachment and removal or calamity for the United States. I don't see how anybody watching Trump's speech in Davos can draw any other conclusion. He's a senile madman.

As someone living in a border city, I would very much not like to have a war with Canada, thanks. Last time they burned Buffalo to the ground on their way to do the same to the White House.
"Canada does not have the number of military personnel or the sophisticated equipment needed to fend off a conventional American attack. So the military envisions unconventional warfare in which small groups of irregular military or armed civilians would resort to ambushes, sabotage, drone warfare…"
Military models Canadian response to hypothetical American invasion
Armed Forces envision insurgency tactics like those used by Afghan mujahedeen, sources say. But officials and experts stress a U.S. operation is unlikely, and the scenarios are conceptual

Got my county tax bill in the mail this weekend. Ten percent of it goes to the local library system, which is fantastic. The other ninety percent pays for roads and snowplows for the exurban towns whose residents go to Facebook and call me a socialist looking for handouts because I live in a city.
