The Epstein Files Transparency Act is a law, passed by Congress on November 19 with an overwhelming vote. Complying with it was not optional. The Department of Justice did not comply.

I want to make sure this is very clear.

Every complicit enabler in Congress needs to be held accountable by the American people in November.
That one person can drag us into a war without consulting or even notifying Congress, or our allies, or fully explaining to the American people why this is necessary, is absolutely bonkers.

Reminder that Congress has the power to stop all of this. Where the hell are they?

“This is insane. What the hell are we doing? …this is illegal” is the evergreen quote that could be applied to almost everything that’s happened over the past year 🤷🏼‍♂️🌲
Rep. Seth Moulton: "This is insane. What the hell are we doing? ... this is illegal."

Unserious people.
And just like that, No New Wars America First MAGA is for bombing everyone and regime change to enrich oligarchs.

Correct 💯
Literally declaring that we invaded a country to defend and expand the profits of our corporations. That's textbook fascism.
Trump: "We're going to have our very large United States oil companies go in, spend billions of dollars, fix the badly broken infrastructure and start making money for the country. And we are ready to stage a second and much larger attack if we need to do so."

It just so happens to be a very convenient distraction 🤷🏼‍♂️
It’s hard to believe a president would time an illegal military attack to distract the public’s attention, but today is the statutory deadline for DOJ to release its report on the Epstein file production. Maybe it is just a coincidence.

Even if Trump’s attack on Venezuela and kidnapping of Maduro somehow led to a positive impact on Venezuela’s future, it would not make these actions by the United States legal, moral or wise.

Normalising and legitimising this behaviour endangers all countries - democracies and dictatorships alike.

Secretaries Rubio and Hegseth looked every Senator in the eye a few weeks ago and said this wasn’t about regime change. I didn’t trust them then and we see now that they blatantly lied to Congress.

1. Maduro is not a good guy by any stretch of the imagination.
2. But capturing him through an extra-legal action that violates international law undermines any US credibility with Russia in Ukraine and China with Taiwan.
3. We have a terrible history with topping leaders without a post-war plan.

Instead, you organized the pro-democracy majority to reclaim its power.
