Thinking today how homelessness runs through this story, through Epstein's (Virginia Guiffre had been homeless before meeting him), and even through Gaiman's (his nanny was sleeping on the beach when Palmer recruited her, and he used threats of homelessness against another victim).
The woman whom the House Ethics Committee determined Matt Gaetz paid for sex when she was 17 years old was living in a homeless shelter, working at McDonald's, and needed the money for braces www.nytimes.com/2025/11/13/u...

Rep. Ansari:

“This is going to be what breaks the dam for Republicans and their undying loyalty, and cult-like loyalty to Donald Trump.”

Everything seems inevitable in retrospect, nothing in advance.
Trump is demanding that GOP side with him over Epstein's victims, Rep Ansari tells me. She had a harrowing exchange with one victim who recounts how her mom had cancer and he exploited that.

Also note her mockery of network disclaimers on Trump. More like this, Ds:

He’s Acting Pretty Damn Guilty
Trump usually acts like a guy with something to hide. But his Epstein behavior is on another level.

EPSTEIN: even today, after the release of the key Epstein-Maxwell emails in which Epstein says Trump knew about the "girls" but hasn't "barked" (presumably, talked), the NYT reports that the WH is intensely pressuring the House NOT to vote to release more? How much worse is what we have not seen?

The Epstein files released today did not come from the DOJ's Epstein Files. They came from Epstein's estate. Pam Bondi is still protecting Trump at all costs. Today's release by Democrats was aimed at undermining her efforts. And to make it harder for Donald to pardon Ghislaine Maxwell.

One horrific thing to me is that the president- a man who has gotten away with everything including literal murder up to this point- seems extremely nervous about anything regarding Epstein coming out. Like how bad does it have to be

I may get a broken neck from whipsawing between praise and condemnation for the Democrats but kudos to Robert Garcia and whoever else was behind the strategy behind making the return of the House all about Epstein and not ending the government shutdown

Cue the rebellion
