ANDOR Season 2 is terrific. An intricate, compelling portrait of revolutionary times that feels, yes, awfully apt at the moment.
‘Andor’ Season Two Is the Best Television of the Year So Far
Somehow a Star Wars show is the most politically relevant TV of 2025.

Cool so what happens if GOP attach a national abortion ban to a CR? You'll vote for that too?

My YES vote is *not* an endorsement of this deeply flawed CR.

My YES vote is 💯 about refusing to shut our government down.

I refuse to punish working families and plunge millions of Americans into chaos.

I will never, ever, ever, ever, ever vote to shut our government down.

I seriously never want to hear or see a New Yorker talk down about the red South when their own state of politics is even worse.

At least here we vote for actual Democrats who want to fight for livelihoods, not Republicans in blue who give in to line up their pockets.

I’d like to ask every single New Yorker who’s remotely left of center to get actively involved in your local Democratic Party chapter with the goal of driving Schumer, Gillibrand, Hochul, Adams, Cuomo and all the other dead wood into retirement.

ESPN has basically traded an entire investigative journalism dept for Stephen A. Smith. ESPN’s IJs used to uncover stories that all sports radio & podcasters would yap about. Invaluable to the brand. The sportsworld spun on it. Now ESPN is just the worst YouTube sports show ever with better graphics

Well now that that part of the Oscars is over — when I watched Emilia Perez, every part of my brain itched with how the culture was presented on screen. I need French people to never touch anything Mexican ever again, thought y’all learned that lesson on Cinco De Mayo but ok. Congrats Zoe Saldaña.

Always loved this quote from Becky Sauerbrunn a few years ago: “I would say that I would hope that I am remembered, but that I’m not missed. Because if I’m missed, then I didn’t do my job. But if I’m remembered, then I had an impact. And I would be just fine with that.”

My favorite Becky Sauerbrunn moment isn’t anything she did on the pitch, but rather when she wrote this in the Springfield News-Leader calling out the Save Women’s Sports Act for not actually caring about women’s sports.

The bidding process that gave Saudi Arabia the 2034 World Cup was a sham. Gianni Infantino and FIFA don’t give a damn about human rights, their own rules or anything else so long as the Saudis keep those checks with all the zeroes coming,

By awarding the 2034 men’s World Cup to Saudi Arabia, a country with an abysmal human rights record, FIFA sold its soul, columnist Nancy Armour writes
