I think this says all we need to know about billionaire Jim Ratcliffe, worth around £13bn. He recently complained on air that the U.K. has become “colonised” by immigrants who cost us too much. He also laid off thousands of jobs at Old Trafford when he took over.

More talk of Bannon & Farage engineering Brexit (we know Epstein was involved too). Johnson & Farage were puppets. May needed to go as she wouldn’t deliver a hard Brexit.
There used to be a good way to deal with treason in the UK - bring it back - especially for Johnson & Farage - such patriots 🤬!
Here’s the LBC recording of Bannon talking with Farage about getting rid of Theresa May, just as his text messages to Epstein suggest he’s work with Boris Johnson to the same end youtu.be/nU0F8rP7dr4?...

This needs to be shouted from rooftops across every home in the U.K….
Brexit was NEVER about freedom for the masses or the country even, it was about making the uber elite & the oligarchs more wealthy. Farage, Putin, Epstein, Bannon, media barons like Rothmere* - it’s finally rearing its ugly head.
The Epstein files show that Brexit was never a “plucky British revolt”. In reality, Brexit was fed, and empowered, by an entire class of oligarchs and autocrats, who thrive on chaos, weak regulation and brittle institutions.
The will of the rich and powerful: Brexit and the Epstein files
The Epstein files reveal the role of Brexit in a global network which stands to gain from undermining democracy itself

Student loans - THE next mis-selling scandal - in FT this weekend. While you might not think it is an issue, and you may disagree with so many doing degrees, it is saddling our younger generations (from low & middle income families) with years of impossible payments.

Will student loans be the next mis-selling scandal?
Graduates are in uproar about Budget changes to loan repayment terms, and they have a point

As tuition fees are set to rise to over £10k pa in 2027, and maintenance loans haven’t kept up with inflation for many years, it’s time something is done about unfair student loans. No other loans work in the same way. Interest accrues from day 1 & rockets, as most don’t start repayments for 3 yrs+
‘A tax on ambition’ - very well said Claer.

It’s great to see the problems caused by the current student loan system covered in the FT (particularly since we’ve been reading it since we were teenagers!).

We are arguing for a fairer system that works better for young people and the UK economy.

Absolutely👇🏻. Farage is so busy grifting in his extra jobs, earning or enjoying almost £400k in just a few months, that he has no time nor care for his constituents. Which ironically should be his main focus. He was the same as an MEP. He thinks these roles are to serve HIM, not the other way round!
www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

Earning this amount whilst virtually ignoring your constituency demonstrates the contempt Farage has for Parliament and his constituents.

The rules won't change or be enforced for as long as those who benefit from their inadequacy are making or enforcing them.

🚨BREAKING: Parliament will debate the petition Calling for a FULL public inquiry into a Russian influence.

🇬🇧 Unlike other parties who were infiltrated or hid. We campaigned for 5 years on this and it’s clear to us Russia interfered in the Brexit campaign. Do you agree?

The fact Reform either hasn’t realised this, or simply doesn’t care, says it all. Let’s hope their ‘fans’ are paying attention. Same old Tory sh*t wrapped up in different paper!
All these Reform defections are short term gains which undermine their core selling point - which is change.

Why would the country elect a party full of all the same washed-up, scandal-hit former Tory ministers they just kicked out of office?

Opens the space for both a Labour and Tory recovery

The Government have been absolutely right to take action against the disgusting and illegal images generated by Grok on twitter.

But Elon Musk is ideologically opposed to the safeguards the public expect online and Grok has been generating these images as far back as August.

Tax dodger extraordinaire, Zahawi joins Reform. Perhaps he forgot about the tweet below ⬇️. Or perhaps he’s just worried about his horses getting cold.

Birds of a feather & all that! Reform is going to have more Tory reprobates & misfits than the actual Tories, soon 🤣

Thank you for sharing Alan M.
