I don't think we've ever seen a more public display of how dementia reverts one's mental state to childhood.
“I’m taking over a sovereign country because nobody gave me the Nobel Peace Prize.”

I know history repeats itself as farce but Jesus Christ, this is literally “Gentlemen, you can’t fight in here, this the War Room!” mixed with Suzy Eddie Izzard’s “Do you have a flag?” imperialism bit.

Seen quite a few people go: "Well, of course Dave Filoni disliked Andor! It wasn't constantly throwing legacy characters at us!"

And, I'm sorry, which #Andor were you watching?

Cause mine had Mon Mothma, Saw, Bail, Krennic, K-2SO, Melshi, Draven, Semaj, Yularen, Raddus and that Rebel radio guy.

Rather than pick a favorite, I gotta say the feat of turning a licensing company back into a production company is amazing.
Hey, post a moment you love from Kathleen Kennedy's stewardship of Lucasfilm.

Stumbled upon a clip of the new #Amadeus adaptation, and honestly? I kinda dig it.

Does away with Forman's mythologically grand style and goes for a documentary-like immediacy in camerawork and performances. Feels very much of the now, as any good adaptation should.

I know this fandom has the memory of a goldfish, but this has already been discussed – and debunked! – last April.

Both Filoni and Gilroy are on record praising each other's work.

Farewell, Ms. Kennedy, and thank you for some of the most amazing Star Wars stories ever told ✨
Kathleen Kennedy is officially leaving Lucasfilm after 14 years.

This will be her last week as head of the studio.

"What if Frankenstein, but also Babylon Berlin" is such a killer concept.
Golden Globe winner Jessie Buckley is the Bride of Frankenstein alongside Christian Bale as the Monster in the brand new official trailer for THE BRIDE!

Only in theaters and IMAX March 6.

I feel somewhat annoyed that this piece is part of a series of four murals promoting various Disney franchises, but where Marvel got a brand new original artwork, Star Wars got... this.

Talk about picking favourite children!

So, there is this pretty big secret I was wary to share with my 84-year-old grandma.

This week, we met for the first time in months – possibly, for the last time, though I sure hope not.

We no longer have secrets between us.

Deeply fascinated by how Tuvan musical instruments look like something out of The Legend of Zelda.

Walked into a random Almaty bookstore and found THESE!!

Now I only need to convince myself I'm comfortable spending $100 on some of the best Star Wars books ever written, no biggie.

I cannot overstate how much I want Kathryn Bigelow to NOT make a film out of this.

I’m not sure how to even express my feelings at how absolutely terrifying what Trump is doing right now. It’s so blatantly illegal, intentionally so, and so flagrant and disgusting. Fuck this man, and fuck this country’s imperial machine.
January 3, 2026 at 10:14 AM
What's especially terrifying about this, is that every dictator itching for war can now point to the US and say:

"See, Trump bombs other countries and kidnaps their leaders with impunity. Which means, so can we and don't you dare criticizing us for that!"
JUST IN: Trump says the U.S. has captured Maduro and his wife and flown them out of the country.

Myself and companion made a New Year resolution to game together more often, and gave each other gifts accordingly.

I can only hope our relationship survives this 😅

Well, this is new for me.

I feel like I haven't seen enough great films this year to compile a proper Top 10 of 2025. I've missed quite a bit, of course, and what I *did* see I almost always enjoyed — just not to a "I want to scream from the rooftops about it" degree.

Maybe I'm just too picky now.

Oh, don't mind me, I'm just spending holidays sorting through all the bags I've accumulated over three years, so that every type of bag would be in its own bag.

Depressed, me? What gave it away?

Randomly remembered how #Andor S2 was clearly temp-scored to Hans Zimmer's Inception and it seeped into the final music too.

Absolutely blown away by Rose Byrne's performance in #IfIHadLegsIdKickYou.

The kind of unleashed, not at all pretty, borderline horror acting that is beloved by all, but never wins awards — so I'm all the happier it seems to be heading for an Oscar.

Somehow, it was only today when I realized that Tom Hanks's son in #RoadToPerdition is none other than Tyler Hoechlin!
