Finally caught up on #Frankenstein.
I feel that, much like Spielberg, GDT has now ascended to a certain level of filmmaking where his movies seem deceptively simple, their language familiar, their meaning clear.
We forget how incredibly hard it is to achieve such simplicity.

It's amusing that, as meticulously detailed as SWEU was, in almost 30 years we never actually learned on which planet one of the levels for #MysteriesOfTheSith is set.

Last time I checked, the "worst movie ever made" scored 53 on Metacritic and B+ on CinemaScore (not great, not terrible), received three Oscar noms, three BAFTA noms, recognition from almost every technical guild, plus Grammy and Hugo noms.
