Well, look at that! 🌟

Our film got a nice little diploma from the Kinoproba film festival in Yekaterinburg.

Couldn't be happier for the entire team led by our fearless director Anna Kerova.

I'm sure!

We have some here, too, but I wonder if it's too spicy for me.

A fun little artifact for @xwinggameseries.bsky.social 's collection — a review of X-Wing vs TIE Fighter in Russian!

(Страна Игр / GameLand #15, August 1997)

Featuring classic traits of early Russian VG magazines, like the dense, colorful layout, and the inclusion of non-translated English terms.

Saw someone claim that #Mickey17 doesn't feel like a 2025 film, and-- huh?!

Mickey 17, Superman, OBAA, The Long Walk, The Running Man, No Other Choice – all contribute to one sprawling, quintessentially 2025 commentary on our real-life slide toward fascism and the inhuman nature of hypercapitalism.

Why, hello there, my most anticipated movie of 2026!

Finally caught up on #Frankenstein.

I feel that, much like Spielberg, GDT has now ascended to a certain level of filmmaking where his movies seem deceptively simple, their language familiar, their meaning clear.

We forget how incredibly hard it is to achieve such simplicity.

Let’s start an over 30 selfie thread ✨

(growing the beard since then, too 🐻)

I can't quite put my finger on it, but the style here feels distinctly... inhuman.

Is @wikipedia.org now allowing AI summaries into their film pages?

My first contact with Stoppard's work was in the late 2000s, joining my family for a full 10-hour production of The Coast of Utopia at the Russian Academic Youth Theatre.

It revolutionized my idea of what theatre can be and how our history resonates around the world.

Farewell to the great master 💚

It also felt odd realizing at one point that this well-renowned mustached grown-up man on the screen is actually several years younger than I am today.

Not sure what to do with this realization.

Bakur Bakuradze's #Lermontov is my kind of "great men of history" biopic.

Condensed to just 24 hours. Naturalistic in its presentation and mumbling performances. Focused not on big emotions, but on fleeting moments and minutiae of how people eat, hunt, love, quietly suffer and murder one another.

I'm no expert in police tactics, but I'm pretty sure that's not how you enter a room where a dangerous armed killer is waiting for you 🤭

Gotta love 90s action movies and their ridiculousness!

Turns out, it wouldn't even be Newman's first foray into Star Wars!

It's amusing that, as meticulously detailed as SWEU was, in almost 30 years we never actually learned on which planet one of the levels for #MysteriesOfTheSith is set.

@writerryan.bsky.social, you ever established that within the team?
November 26, 2025 at 3:09 PM
Last time I checked, the "worst movie ever made" scored 53 on Metacritic and B+ on CinemaScore (not great, not terrible), received three Oscar noms, three BAFTA noms, recognition from almost every technical guild, plus Grammy and Hugo noms.

But sure, go on with you performative hatred, I guess.

I was just looking for a Predator fix, following Badlands / Killer of Killers!
November 25, 2025 at 8:46 PM
Nothing fills me with love of cinema quite like screaming at the screen:

"HOW TF DID YOU EVEN COME UP WITH THIS SHOT??"

Park Chan-wook's #NoOtherChoice is simply phenomenal! A filmmaking master class, where nearly every scene features some clever technique or unique visual flair.

Tense, hilarious and incisive in its exploration of how toxic masculinity is intrinsically linked to capitalism in a murder-suicide pact.

You are NOT prepared for how this is gonna go.

Scene of the effin' year.
