All the election night coverage is great and energizing, but genuine question for @jacobsoboroff.bsky.social - is saying that people are waiting “on line” vs “in line” a regional dialect or what’s going on there? The people need to know. #msnbc

Sports stats that are stats simply because of circumstance are bad. Of course everything is a first when it’s your inaugural season. It’s giving “last first Tuesday of senior year” energy. Call me when we’re breaking records.

There has been a rush among centrists like Gavin Newsom and Ezra Klein to brush over the hateful life of Charlie Kirk and valorize the man.

Let me be clear, killing Charlie Kirk was wrong and abhorrent.

We must condemn murder without sanitizing a man who built his empire on hate.

My latest piece.
We Must Not Posthumously Sanitize Charlie Kirk's Hateful Life
Influential anti-LGBTQ+ activist Charlie Kirk was assassinated on Wednesday. While condemning violence is something most can get behind, sanitization of his hate has gone too far.

And cars would still have the 5, 805, 15, Park blvd, Florida Dr, Pershing Dr, 4th, 5th & 6th Aves etc.. to cross N/S

An ambitious plan to move hundreds of unsheltered homeless people out of an encampment that borders Oceanside and Carlsbad and into stable housing is having early success.

housing affordability is one of the few issues where i feel like the median lefty is just wrong in their diagnosis of the problem.
I genuinely don't follow what point is being made here. Vacancies in New York are low because there isn't enough housing! This building is very expensive because ... there isn't enough housing! Where is the tension? www.nytimes.com/2025/05/27/r...

NEW: AOC in Vegas.

Major challenge to Dem leadership🔥

“If you’re willing to fight for someone you don’t know, you’re welcome here. But I will say this: Those leaders on either side of aisle willing to put their fellow Americans down so they can get ahead; they may best find a home somewhere else.”

AOC: One thing I love about Arizonans is that you all have shown that if a US Senator isn’t fighting hard enough for you, you’re not afraid to replace her with one who will.

US tipping culture baffles me. You order your meal, the server does their job, and at the end, you’re stuck inflating the bill out of guilt because owners won’t pay proper wages. Why is this on us? Price the food honestly, pay staff fairly, and end this nonsense already.

This is so shortsighted. We're paying these two people for three months — what can even be accomplished in three months? — when we should be hiring city employees to work on a plan for rebuilding Palisades infrastructure that becomes the new model for how we plan and build *all* LA infrastructure

Trump is deep in the pocket of Big Pharma. He doesn't care whether Americans can afford their meds, only that Big Pharma continues to make massive profit.

This won’t help you. It won’t help your family. He did this because it helps Pharma CEOs.
Donald Trump rescinded Biden's action to lower prescription drug costs for Americans on Medicare and Medicaid.

There's no other way to spin it. That means more money out-of-pocket for seniors and families.

Big Pharma first. Ordinary people last.
