I've never believed in 'useless knowledge'. Anything that makes yer brain think is useful in making yer brain think. It's not a matter of what you feed your brain rather that you do it consistently...okay, what totes matters too 😅

I had to listen to these two young men (early twenties) gleefully talk about people getting deported while at work today...the way they so callously reveled in the suffering of others in such a public place really disturbed me. The boys are not all right...they're becoming more and more alt right 😔

It's really painfully simple. When marginalized groups start feeling safe in public you start seeing more of them. No hidden agenda, no nefarious injections, just regular people living their lives as they wish to. Society becoming more diverse is a sign of healing and reason to rejoice.
Perioidic reminder that the reason you didn't see autistic people with intellectual disabilities on the street five decades ago was not because they didn't exist. It's because they were sent away to institutions and their parents were told to put away pictures of them.
