A House of Dynamite is amazing and I cannot believe how many negative reviews there are, it almost feels like an astroturf campaign. One of the biggest gripes is the story structure loses its momentum but that’s only if you’re asking to be given a conclusion. The real lesson is we are not safe.

Absolutely crazy thing to say when that Saturday night gassing was the most egregious, unjustified, and excessive use of gas I have ever experienced in my life. The protesters were doing NOTHING to deserve it.
Broadview Mayor Katrina Thompson's full statement, in which she says she will sign an EO permitting protest "only at the safety zone located at the ICE facility on Beach Street," is up on the village's website.
"There are too many protesters abusing their right to protest," Thompson says.

Here’s the latest on how shrimp and spices got contaminated with cesium-137, how the FDA has responded, and why consumers should not panic.

The whiplash from blaming the extreme militant antifa assassin/gun-banning, trans, immigrant left to feeling sorry for a lost white boy (grown ass man) is extraordinary…

Hey @thehill.com, any update on this headline?
Perhaps an apology to @kamalaharris.com is in order and perhaps it is time for you to honestly cover the Dump Administration.

BREAKING: Texas Rep. Nicole Collier was literally forced off a PRESS CALL by cops — mid-sentence. Police told her it’s a felony to speak while on the House floor or even in the damn bathroom.
That’s not procedure. That’s authoritarian muscle, in real time.

I met Melissa Hortman as a young lawyer back in 1997. She won a $490,181 civil award for Stormy Harmon, an African-American mother of three who sued landlords of housing discrimination and emotional distress. I remember Stormy being quite proud of her lawyer who fiercely fought for her.

Newsom is doing what almost every Democrat in the country is afraid to do right now and he is going to reap all the rewards if they don’t hurry.
As a California voter intimately familiar with Newsom’s actual policy bonafides, I am loudly imploring someone else to do that hurrying.

Newsom: This Saturday, he's ordering our American heroes, the United States military, and forcing them to put on a vulgar display to celebrate his birthday, just as other failed dictators have done in the past

Quote this with a fictional character that had a justifiable crashout.
Though the whole story of Falling Down is the entire crashout, this scene encapsulates it:

I know I’m late to the party but Conclave was amazing. As an agnostic Catholic, this movie moved me. I especially loved Isabella Rossellini’s performance, though all of the star players brought their A game.

Andor has definitely picked up, “Welcome to the Rebellion” was an amazing episode! I’m really looking forward to the end of the season now.
Kind of down on the season premiere of Andor, I feel like the three episodes didn’t do much and were a bit of filler. Hopefully there is some point to that whole jungle bit other than it just having taken place on Yavin.

Racist sore losers, you all lost and you’re holding on to shitty values because?!?
NEW: Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves has declared April 2025 as Confederate Heritage Month.
He did so at the behest of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, a neo-Confederate organization that espouses “Lost Cause” ideology, which whitewashes the role of slavery in the Civil War. 🧵
