Congress must defund ICE now. Call Noem to testify, impeach her if she doesn't. And here in NY we need to take speedy action to support immigrants and legal aid and to pass the NY Civil Rights Act so individuals can sue when their rights are violated.

Every elected official must speak out against what ICE is doing in our streets. Executions in full daylight; deliberate, disproportionate use of force vs civilians. Imagine if the Capitol police had killed J6 rioters with such casual brutality - and they actually had reason to fear for their lives.

I put out the word at 7 Eastern that Minnesotans were calling a vigil at 8/7 Central time and 20 of my neighbors came out in the bitter cold to hold candles on the corner in solidarity. I love my neighborhood- and our country, if we can keep it.
