I also hope that those colleagues, especially the Europeans, are willing to have more conversations about how travel across policed borders and through nation states has always been risky and scary for folks with non-dominant identities.

i would love to stay in academia but i don’t think i’m good enough for it, as i’m already years behind
struggling with mental health throughout my early years of uni and not being able to start T until 2024 certainly didn’t help
