A recent VanSun column sparked fear over BC’s Heritage Conservation Act reforms. Let's look at the facts. The current system is broken for everyone—archaeologists, developers, & First Nations alike. The proposed changes are a pragmatic fix, not a radical NDP plot. (1/6) #BCPoli #BCHeritage #UNDRIP

Today & everyday, we recommit ourselves to condemning and taking action against violence against women, children, & 2SLGBTQIA+ people. I am so thankful for the incredible work of Paul & Raven Lacerte, & for every advocate, for raising their voices & lifting up those impacted. We must do better. 2/3

It was an amazing turnout today, great to see so many caring people sharing space, marching, drumming, dancing & singing. 🙌🏽❤️
Indigenous women, girls, & 2SLGBTQIA+ people are more likely to be murdered, assaulted or go missing than any other women nationwide. Our gov’t has made significant progress, but we need to do more. I’m so grateful to work alongside so many strong leaders & advocates who are advancing this work. 3/3

Incredible to watch the speed one cheeto propped up by a plucky group of billionaires, who just want to make things better for everyone 🙄 moves everyone, glovally towards affordability & catostophic pandemic at the same time. 🤦🏽‍♂️
The conman from Mar-a-Lago promised to lower the price of eggs. Now he is going door to door in Europe begging for eggs.
In Canada egg prices remain stable. Here's my piece on Trump's disastrous handling of the crisis as avian flu threatens an even bigger disaster.

The conditions she describes are what migrants are subjected to all the time. The United States is just expanding their inhumane treatment. I think Canadians should be avoiding entering the US
Canadian woman has been imprisoned by ICE for the last 9 days over paperwork issues with a work visa while trying to enter the United States

According to KGTV San Diego, she was transported to a detention facility in Arizona where she was "wrapped in chains" and kept in a cell with 30 other people

How serious is Trump's threat against Canada?
Very serious. But Trump didn't factor in the determined resistance of a united country.
We grow stronger while he scrambles to contain the economic chaos he created.
Here's my latest reflection on the next steps we must take.

This is bad, looking at the photos from Facebook the failure is in the middle of the support.

This is a Poma lift, identical to the Whistler Village Gondola. If there is a design issue it could extend to Whistler.

When Mike Myers wore his "Canada Is Not For Sale" t-shirt on SNL, he mouthed a secret code: "elbows up."
It's a reference to the great Gordie "Mr. Elbows" Howe who punished those that messed with his team.
You heard him Canada: elbows up.
If anyone asks why, tell them that Mike Myers sent you.

It was while climbing up a favourite trail & I suddenly found myself flying backwards & stopping rather quickly. Be safe out there friends. I am okay 🤙🏽
