Health-care workers want to be part of a system where their skills are valued, science is respected and their focus is on providing care.

Last week I got to meet with three fantastic nurses from the US who made the move to #Nanaimo

Thank you to all the foster parents across British Columbia 🙏

Your kindness, stability, and care make a world of difference for children and youth who need a safe and supportive place to call home.

Because of you, young people have the chance to heal, grow, and thrive.

Caring for children is every society’s most important job. Foster and kinship caregivers play a vital role in helping young people stay connected to their families, communities and culture - while providing the care and stability they need.

🧑‍⚕️ Thank you to the BC Nurses’ Union for meeting with us MLAs

It was encouraging to hear that minimum nurse-to-patient ratios are already being implemented so every nurse can provide patients with the care they deserve.

BC Gov was the first to announce that we’d appeal the decision of Cowichan Tribes v. AG Canada et al. We strongly disagree with the court’s treatment of private property, but even as this case continues, we know lasting solutions are found through dialogue & collaboration with First Nations partners
What the Cowichan decision really means, and how we move forward together

It’s important for us to speak directly to Americans looking to build home or renovate. How much this work costs is going up – because Donald Trump has slapped additional tariffs on top of already unfair softwood duties. We didn’t do it, so we shouldn’t wear it.

Thank you @dianagibson.bsky.social for your support & advocacy on behalf of nurses, and to your mom for her service to healthcare system! Feel grateful to have you as my colleague 💕🧡
As a daughter of a nurse, I am no stranger to the hard work that they demonstrate everyday. Yesterday’s breakfast was a great opportunity for my colleagues and I to connect with nurses and work towards creating a stronger healthcare system.

BC will drive the Canadian economy at a time when it's under attack by Trump and those who echo his message here.

If Canada wants to grow its economy, the answer is simple: look west to British Columbia.

That's where we're building a path to prosperity for all Canadians.🍁

Let’s be clear about what Alberta is proposing:

BC loses billions of dollars of major projects from private investors.

AND Canadian taxpayers are forced to pay billions more because there is no interest from a private company.

That’s not fair. And fairness is a Canadian value.
