Today marks one year since we lost our friend, John Horgan.

Over the past year, we’ve been able to honour his legacy with the opening of the John Horgan Campus in his beloved community of Langford. It’s a reminder of a lifetime devoted to public service and building a better BC and Canada.

As minister of education, as a parent, & former school trustee, the safety and well-being of our students is my number one priority.

That’s why in B.C., we have taken a proactive, trauma informed, evidence based approach to creating age-appropriate curriculum.

So we’re working to bring child care spaces into our schools.
