This might be my favourite way so far to buy local. We have an impressive variety of local food businesses in the TriCities, and it was a pleasure to sample them last night at the Taste of the TriCities festival!

Today at the constituency office we got trained on how to safely use Naloxone to save someone’s life during an overdose.

A huge thanks to the folks at Naloxhome for showing us how to spot signs of an overdose and intervene while medical professionals are on their way.

Today, we remember the more than six million Jews murdered during the Holocaust, and the millions of others murdered by the Nazi regime. As survivors grow fewer, our responsibility to remember and our resolve to act grows stronger. (1/3)

It's easy to put weekend planning on the backburner after a busy Monday - Friday, but there's a lot to do in Coquitlam on weekends, and many of these activities are affordable, and kid-friendly. Thanks to Coquitlam Heritage, Coquitlam Public Library and @cityofcoquitlam.bsky.social!

I know many Iranian people within my Coquitlam community and throughout BC will be struggling right now in a way that is impossible to put into words. Know that my heart is with you in this moment and that this decades-long pursuit of justice, human rights, and democracy matters to me.

What an honour to join Huu-ay-aht First Nations, as the community gathered to sign a new child and family services agreement, which will guide how we make decisions together to support Huu-ay-aht families. Thanks for welcoming me into this moment! I look forward to continuing this work together.

Thrilled to see new affordable homes and child care spaces at Cindy Beedie Place in Burnaby, providing women and their children a safe place to call home.

This is a powerful example of how we can support families with housing and care in one place.

As I shared a few weeks ago, we introduced legislation this fall to bring more clarity to the process of MCFD safety planning. What a humbling experience to pass legislation for the first time! The CFCSA is now explicit about the parameters of safety planning, making the process clearer for all.
